Changes in the issuing of the letters of invitation for foreign citizens.

Since September 2, 2013, Russian Federal Migration Service in Moscow when receiving the documents from organizations and institutions of foreign countries for the issuing of the letters of invitation for foreign citizens will be guided by the Order of Federal Migration Service dated November 30, 2012, No. 390 (the articles are listed below). Art. 37. The official documents issued by the organizations and
institutions of foreign countries which are not participants of
The Hague Convention from October 5, 1961, abolishing the requirement
of legalization of foreign public documents, unless otherwise
provided in contracts and agreements of the Russian
Federation with foreign countries are admitted to
the examination having consular legalization, which
is usually made by the consular offices of the Russian Federation
abroad and the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of
the Russian Federation. The official documents issued by the organizations
and institutions of foreign countries which are participants of the Hague
Convention from October 5, 1961 abolishing the requirement of legalization of
foreign public documents, unless otherwise provided
in contracts and agreements of the Russian Federation with
foreign countries are admitted to the examination having the apostil
certifying the authenticity of the signature of the
person who signed the document, and the authenticity of the
seal or stamp which the document bears.
